Arie Martinus Testimonial - My Story: The Journey to Hell and Back and my Spiritual Enlightenment

CHILDHOOD

Growing up as a young child, my Father (who was a ship’s Captain) was a periodic alcoholic, my brother was an alcoholic and my Mother enjoyed drinking. From an early age, I was given either a drop of brandy in my bottle to help me sleep, or some wine. It’s no wonder that I became an alcoholic.

ALCOHOLISM

At the age of 15, I went to sea and my drinking increased considerably. At the age of 19, I was told by a Doctor in Gibraltar, that if I carried on drinking, I would be dead in 3 years. I carried on drinking till the age of 27. It was a regular occasion for me to be taken to the Greenwich seaman’s hospital and put in the ward for alcohol treatment. I would hallucinate, my hands would shake badly with the DT’s (Delirium Tremens) and my nervous system was completely messed up. I also suffered from severe mental fears and phobias. 

By the time I was 21, I was a ship’s Captain but by the time I was 27, I was completely physically and mentally destroyed. I was drinking to suppress my anxiety and depression. It was a time in my life when I felt suicidal and nobody wanted to know me. I would drink a bottle of whiskey within a 2-3 hour period and I would drink a bottle of brandy which I put in my coffee through the day, and I drank copious amounts of beer. It was not uncommon for me to get liver spots in front of my eyes. When I used to look in the mirror, I would look deep into my soul and I didn’t like what I saw. I did not accept that I was an alcoholic. I was even under psychiatric treatment at the Dreadnought Seaman’s Hospital. It was only on one occasion, when I was wheeled in to the Greenwich Seaman’s Hospital on a stretcher and they closed the curtains behind me, that I heard the Doctor say, “Alcoholic. Hopeless case.” It was only then that I knew that I had to sort myself out. Nobody calls me hopeless.

RECOVERY

I used the methods contained in this programme, and that is what enabled me to make a full recovery. It took me 5 years to completely get over the effects of alcohol abuse and I wondered if I would ever be normal again. During these 5 years, I had many panic attacks where I thought that I was going to die and my whole body was craving the alcohol. I remember speaking to a hypnotist on the QE2, who informed me that I had used self-hypnosis (which is contained in this programme) to cure my addiction. In fact, during the hypnotist’s show, he mentioned my case and asked me to stand up where I got a standing ovation.

ABSTAINING

The success rate of alcoholism is very low but by using the methods contained in this download, you certainly have a more successful outcome. After coming through this period, my life completely changed. I formed my own company which is very successful in the late 1970’s and at one time I employed over 500 people. I became a ship owner, owned 2 floating restaurants and have had many wonderful opportunities but there have been times of great hardship when I’ve felt like hitting the bottle. However, by abstaining from alcohol I’ve become a completely different person. For the past 30 years I have been dry and now I have no cravings whatsoever. When you become free of alcohol it is a great feeling. You become spiritually awakened and your senses are sharpened, giving you a clear head. You look life right in the eye and can handle whatever life throws at you, leaving you free from anxiety and stress but more to the point I found that I became more spiritually aware of my journey in life. It was as though God had given me another chance and from being an ‘animal’ (see book) to being the more spiritually aware person that I am today. I was going through life before with blinkers on, and what I found was that I was becoming very clairvoyant and was able to see things before they happened. In one instance I told a friend of the Lockerbie air crash 3 weeks before it had happened. It was only when I saw the pictures on the television that I realized that it was exactly what I had seen in my vision only 3 weeks previously. What disturbed me the most was not actually the incident of the plane crashing, but seeing the deaths and pain and suffering of all of the people. I have had many premonitions that have become reality and so many friends and family can testify to that. I once saw myself on a ship that was sinking in the North Sea in a blizzard. It was as I was actually helping get people off this sinking ship that I realized that it was a vision that I had seen previously that was coming true. Whilst on the ship I realized that it was the ship that I had seen in my vision. The incident was televised on this is your life, The Eamonn Andrews Show in 1979. Eamonn interviewed Brian Bevin who was the coxswain of the lifeboat. The story is also documented in a book called ‘Strong to Save’ which is the story of a heroic lifeboat man, namely Brian Bevin who was the same man who came to our rescue on the sinking ship.

THE ACCIDENT

Then in the 1980’s, I had an accident. I was helping my staff to move furniture from ICI at Millbank, when I was crushed beneath some filing cabinets. This resulted in what was believed to be a blood clot going through the heart. It was nearly fatal and I lost all feeling in my left arm and the left side of my chest and I could not move my head. I was under a Harley Street Specialist who put me through an MRI Scan and I was told that between 6 and 7 vertebrae on the spinal cord were damaged and they wanted to take some bone from my hip and fuse it to my neck, which would mean putting my head in a metal cage for months. I was also informed that if the operation was not a success, I would be paralysed from the head down. They told me not to drive or use my arm or hand, and it was then that I decided to use the same techniques that I had used to heal myself from alcohol addiction. It was using the Mind Power Self-Healing Techniques and Alternative Methods (which are contained in the downloads) that I was able to bring myself back to wellbeing. On my return to the Harley Street specialist, he asked me how I had achieved this and said that I was a walking miracle. I had proven medical science wrong and the Doctor could not explain how this had happened, but in my case, it worked. Within 3 months I was back to normality, working, driving and getting on with my life.

HELPING PEOPLE

I realized that I had a gift and I was advised to develop my gift by contacting the British Psychic Society. It was then that I really became involved in healing and helping people. I’ve used energy healing, I’ve studied in the ancient art of the Taoist Monks for over 30 years, I have used crystal healing, have worked on people’s chakras and have used pendulum forces to find out where blockage ailments are in a person’s body. I am a trained stress therapist and have worked with people suffering from many different kinds of stress-related illnesses and I have helped many people come off their anti-depressants such as prozac. (See Alison’s Testimonial) I can see people’s auras or life force energy. This looks like a white light which emanates around the torso part of their bodies. One time, as I was watching the famous healer Ray Brown working on a cancer patient, I could see two spirit beings working with Ray. When I told Ray of this he didn’t seem at all surprised and said that they were his spirit helpers and that I was very spiritually gifted if I could see them. I’ve experienced astral travel, which to the uninitiated, I can only describe as going through a tunnel with a bright light at the end which I was drawn to and was then able to disconnect with my physical body. I believe that my gifts were given to me by a higher force to help humanity. I have helped to heal many people including a patient who was unconscious and on a life support machine for 7 days after undergoing several major brain operations and it was doubtful that the patient would survive. I used my gift of healing whilst in deep meditation and projecting healing energies along with my spiritual mental affirmations to help her to full recovery.  Veronica was one of the very few survivors whilst in intensive care which was due to the professionalism of the surgeons and nurses in the hospital and along with my healing techniques, helped to make Veronica a survivor, not a fatality.
